Lost Little Girl Found Her Home (Miyu's Arrival)

Hi, I'm back with the dolly news ! There's a new additional family member.. ehhh..?
 = = =(ﾉ･ｪ･)ﾉ Presenting, my second Dollfie Dream doll, Mariko ! Ahaha, they just multiple without my notice

Yes, I won her in recent Volks lottery in August 2015. Mariko was re-released along with DD Kirika (Shining Resonance) & DD Alisa (Alisa Ilyinichna Omela TV Anime Ver.).
 Mariko , on the other hand , is the 3rd Ver. named Summer Festival Ver. after previous Mariko Sensei & Mariko Student.

Mariko cost me around $545 (MYR2,300±) include tax & shipping (company price is 57,000 yen with tax , excluded shipping). I made my payment on 31st August and she arrived to me on 12 September 2015. That quite sometime because in previous shipment , it took 4-5 days for item to arrived once payment has been made.

I wasn't lucky time time in term of custom charge. Thus, additional 6% tax is added in order to collect her. Thanks to my friend too, who helped me over to collect the box because I had plan over weekend and the custom office quite far, it took around 30-45 minutes to drive over there.

I named her Hoshino Miyu 星野美優 (ほしのみゆ) which mean beautiful plain of stars. She is Maya's sister ( my boyfriend's DD).

Miyu was not under my doll plan, however due to poison from friends and internet pictures, I decided to try my luck on getting her when Volks decided to re-release her. To be honest, I won her by a nose. If it's not my friend's help, I would not able to lay my hands on her.

When it comes to Volks lottery,  if you really interested on the doll, you must send multiple entries to increase the chances of getting it. In my case, I sent 8 e-mails including 1 from my friend (which won) , 1 entry from another friend and 3 entries from my boyfriend.  It was his first time entering lottery, maybe that's another point why Volks might chose him.

During the 10 days waiting time, I don't know why but me and my friends were feeling anxious and uneasy or just can't wait for the doll to arrive. I mean, this is not my first time buying doll, it's how people around me react that made me went along with them.

I've decided to keep the doll , wig and split over her outfits and accessories. I did split the eyes too, however , there's no one has interest, I'm just going to keep them.

In case anyone wonder what is split, this briefly explains what it means :

Splitting Sale  - Selling over items in the package before you actually receive the whole item, with you're the one who keep the bigger part of it, such doll body or head (high value) and the price of each item must be within the company listed price.

Ah, in addition, all the Mariko's buyer will receive a special preserve white rose from Volks in conjunction of celebrating 15th Dollfie Memorial Year. Though, Kirika & Alisa's buyer did not get any. I think it's because limit to original character from Volks.

My friends thought it's a fake rose, but it's hard to tell from the petals texture and smells. Once I check its cover, it's a special made by florever.jp , specialist maker of preserved flowers. This is new to me, I never knew we could preserve a flower and it said it may last up to months or even years ! Wow !
